So-called ‘Gay Cure’ iPhone app pulled from iTunes
It’s being called the “gay cure” app: A smart phone application claiming to change homosexuality. The iPhone app is sparking outrage by gay activists who say the application is "hateful and bigoted."
More than 145,000 people have signed a petition calling for Apple to remove the so-called “gay cure” app from the iTunes store.
FOX31 News logged on to the app store to check on the application and it was no longer available. The app was available through Tuesday evening and was recently pulled. Apple did not return our calls for comment, The Baltimore Sun reports.
