At the Stonewall National Monument in New York, pride flags were vandalised

According to a statement, the New York Police Department (NYPD) is looking into «a criminal mischief pattern» of vandalism at the Stonewall National Monument during Pride month targeting Pride and transgender flags.

The hate crime task force of the police department is looking into three instances that happened on June 10, June 15, and June 20.

Police said that someone or something was spotted taking down Pride flags that were flying from the monument’s fence. The flags were also damaged in two of the cases, according to the statement, CNN reports.
