Support for same-sex marriage matches record high in U.S
The percentage of Americans who say that same-sex marriage should remain legal has returned to a record high after dipping slightly last year.
A Gallup poll released Monday found that 67 percent of U.S. adults believe that same-sex marriage should be legally recognised, tying a number previously seen in 2018.
The percentage represents a 4-point swing in favour of same-sex marriage recognition since Gallup’s poll was taken last year, The Hill reports.
