Gay players in Italy squad, claims TV presenter
The television presenter has previously claimed that there are players in the Serie A that are keeping their sexuality a secret and now Alessandro Cecchi Paone has claimed that there are homosexual players named in Italy boss Cesare Prandelli's provisional 30-man squad for the World Cup.
He told the IBTimes: “Unfortunately the football world is a very homophobic universe, a place where machismo has to be exhibited.
“I can assure you that within the locker rooms the sexual orientation of players is known and accepted.”
