Let’s call time on gay bullying
Ireland is becoming a world leader in the drive to stamp out homophobic bullying in schools.
This week (March 5-12) up to 3,000 secondary schools are taking part in the Stand Up to Homophobic Bullying Awareness Campaign, the latest initiative by the BeLonG To youth service.
“The idea is to encourage everyone to take a stand against homophobic bullying. That includes gay and straight young people and teachers, Irish Independent reports.
