Manchester named world’s best gay-friendly destination

Manchester has beaten Sydney, Amsterdam and San Francisco to be named the world’s top gay-friendly destination...

The title has been awarded by Expogays, a Spanish based Gay Business and Tourism Fair, which showcases gay-friendly businesses, tourism destinations and specialised products to more than 15,000 visitors, Click  Manchester reports.

Manchester has been recognised for the respect and tolerance it shows to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
