Pastor who advocates gay conversion therapy awarded MBE
The pastor co-founded Christian Concern, a group that attempted to screen a documentary advocating for gay conversion therapy.
Pastor Ade Omooba, who is the co-founder of Christian Concern alongside Andrea Minichiello Williams, was awarded the honour at Buckingham Palace on Thursday for his work in voluntary service.
Pastor Omooba has been involved in a string of anti-LGBTQ+ campaigns over the course of his career, including a failed attempt to stop anti-discrimination legislation against gay people in 2006.
