Virgin Trains has invited a railway fan making his first visit to Manchester Pride on board its specially decorated #RideWithPride train, as it transports hundreds of visitors to the city for a long weekend of celebrations.

New Exhibition Recalls Defeat of 1978 Ballot Measure Banning Lesbian and Gay Teachers
A new exhibition opening September 14 at the GLBT History Museum marks the 40th anniversary of the defeat of a California ballot measure that would have banned lesbian and gay people and supporters of lesbian and gay rights from teaching in public schools.
