UK: Conservative Party scrapped Brunei-owned hotel event over anti-gay laws
Britain’s Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt called off the fundraiser for the governing Conservative Party after Brunei introduced the death penalty for gay sex among several harsh new sharia laws.

Sultan of Brunei’s hotel besieged in protest at gay death penalty
Nearly 400 hundred people rallied outside the Dorchester Hotel in London on Saturday 6 April to protest against Brunei’s enactment of death by stoning for homosexuality, adultery and insulting the prophet Mohammad.
