Kenya: Court Upholds Archaic Anti-Homosexuality Laws
Kenya’s High Court on May 24, 2019 upheld laws criminalising homosexual acts between consenting adults, a step backward in the progress Kenya has made toward equality in recent years, Human Rights Watch said last Friday.

Brunei: New Report on Abusive Penal Code
Brunei should immediately repeal its newly enacted penal code, which violates a range of human rights, Human Rights Watch said today in an open letter to the sultan of Brunei and a report, «Brunei’s Pernicious New Penal Code».
