Oxford, MS Unanimously Passes Pro-LGBT Resolution
Tonight Oxford, Mississippi unanimously passed a resolution recognizing the dignity and worth of all city residents – including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT). Oxford joins two other Mississippi cities – Starkville and Hattiesburg – which both passed similar resolutions earlier this year.

Facebook offers new custom gender field for trans users
Today, Facebook announced a custom gender option with additional privacy settings for transgender people. The new feature, which GLAAD helped develop, enables users to select a custom gender option, indicate preferred pronouns and adjust privacy settings for the custom gender field.

Far Right Organisation Has Long Anti-Gay History
The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a far-right organization known for its advocacy of “Stand Your Ground” laws and restrictions on voting rights, has a history of anti-gay propaganda, according to recently released documents.
