Ireland : Time gay men must wait to give blood after last sexual contact is reduced
Gay men will from Monday (28 March 2022) be able to donate blood four months after their last sexual encounter instead of twelve months in a change of eligibility criteria announced by the Irish Blood Transfusion Service.

Lion King cast ‘subjected to racist and homophobic abuse’ after performance in Dublin
Irish police are investigating an incident that took place on 28 January – with British actor Stephenson Ardern-Sodje, who plays Simba, saying the cast were targeted «both verbally and with the threat of violence».
