Obama Lurches to the Reagan Right
It is certainly interesting to watch Barack Obama’s rightward lurch to the center these days compared to his 2008 “Change We Can Believe In” campaign. As a candidate, he provided us with soaring rhetoric and blistering critiques of the Bush tax cuts and the Global War on Terror.

Conservative group wants answers from Palin on gay rights
The conservative American Principles Project, which is already boycotting this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference over the inclusion of a gay GOP group, is now demanding “clarity” from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Arizona Shooting and Class Resentment….
In the past 23 years, only two US Congress-persons have been shot at. Both are Jewish: Gabrielle Giffords, last week in Arizona, and Eric Cantor of Virginia, the new GOP House Majority Leader.

Generational Change in the New GOP ????
President Obama created a stir last month when he reiterated that while he doesn’t support gay marriage, he still struggles with the issue. He said his views are “constantly evolving.”

We learned a lot about Gay voters, at least if you have an open mind and a discerning intellect. According to Fox News, which some Gays do watch, 31 % or more of self-identified Gay voters in exit polls said they voted for the Republican Party.

Not all Gays believe that they can not support and integrate today’s GOP. There are Gay GOP Clubs everywhere in metropolitan America, and they are often attended by many high-profile, even religious, conservative Republican candidates and Party officials.
