Welcome to the 12th Annual Arosa Gay Ski Week – one of the most popular gay ski weeks in Europe !
From January 10th to 17th, 2016 the gay friendly resort of Arosa revs up again for it’s lively and colourful winter Pride festival. Each year, hundreds of gay and lesbian travelers gather for a week of skiing, snowboarding, partying and lounging in the sun at Arosa, which sits at the top of a typical Swiss valley just 2 ½ hours from Zürich. The huge ski area of Arosa-Lenzerheide allows participants from over 30 different countries to enjoy 225km/140miles of slopes with fantastic snow conditions and lots of sunny days in one of Europe’s best skiing domains.

Istanbul Pride 2015: historic for all the wrong reasons
For the first time in 12 years, Istanbul’s Pride parade was disrupted by the police on Saturday (27 June 2015) as they fired water cannons and rubber bullets at those who had peacefully gathered to celebrate diversity. The authorities had also banned the parade at the last minute. ILGA-Europe strongly condemn the actions of the police and view their actions as a severe infringement on the right to freedom of assembly in Turkey.
