Sweden’s First Official Drag Queen Calendar Sparks Colourful Craze

Sweden has a new cultural must-have — and it’s drenched in sequins. The Swedish Drag Queen Calendar 2026 – At the End of the Rainbow has been unveiled, featuring twelve of the nation’s most iconic drag performers in a riot of style and personality that’s already setting social feeds alight.

Shot by Anna Vinterfall and styled by Peter Englund, the A3 satin-print calendar presents a month-by-month parade of over-the-top glamour, wit and stage-ready drama. Project leader Nina Saving at Konstexpo describes it as «an explosion of colour, expression and individuality», a deliberate celebration of drag as serious art and joyous entertainment.

The glossy launch hit national TV this Sunday when Vanity Vain — who owns the calendar cover — appeared on TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon alongside Vinterfall and Englund to talk about the creative process. Vanity Vain’s rock’n’roll charisma has made her a household name after a standout run on Drag Race Sverige, a QX Gala win as «Drag of the Year» and an appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.
