
LA Pride postponed amid growing coronavirus concerns
The city’s annual LGBTQ celebration is normally held in June in honor of the historic 1969 Stonewall uprising.
Los Angeles’ annual gay pride celebration has joined a growing list of events across the country that have been postponed, canceled or suspended amid fears of the coronavirus pandemic, NBC News reports.
Due to the concerns of COVID-19, CSW will postpone all events related to the 50th Anniversary of LA Pride that were scheduled for June 2020. Organizers are assessing the situation. More information to be provided around the postponement as details become available.
