Astraea Foundation Statement on Caster Semenya Ruling
The recent ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against Caster Semenya is not only a major setback for intersex human rights but reveals how intersex people—especially those who are Black and Brown – continue to be dehumanised and systematically excluded from all spheres of life, including sports.
