TLDEF Appoints Nationally Recognised LGBTQ Activist Andy Marra as Executive Director
Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF) Board of Directors today announced the appointment of Andrea “Andy” Hong Marra as its new executive director. Marra is a nationally revered social justice advocate with a strong track record of service to the LGBTQ movement. Marra succeeds Dolph Ward Goldenburg who has served as Interim Executive Director since February.

Dozens of transgender women and gay men in the caravan moving through Mexico with hopes of seeking asylum in the United States have banded together for protection — not from the uncertainty of a journey fraught with danger from the gangs who prey on migrants but from their fellow travellers.

MEPs write to Polish Minister of Education about Rainbow Friday
On 26 October 2018, Rainbow Friday, a day dedicated to raising awareness about LGBTQI rights in schools in Poland, took place for the 3rd consecutive year. Schools who were organising events on this day across the country were subject the LGBTI Intergroup write to Polish Minister of Education Anna Zalewska to express their concern about the situation.
