High street newsagent WHSmith has denied accusations of homophobia after apparently withdrawing copies of Attitude and Gay Times magazines from display in its Leamington branch.

HRC Commends 9th Circuit Decision to Protect Domestic Partner Benefits
Today the Human Rights Campaign – America’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organisation – commends a decision issued by the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit prohibiting an Arizona law from taking effect that would have ended domestic partner benefits for state employees.

HRC Endorses Tammy Baldwin for Senate
Today the Human Rights Campaign – America’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organisation – announced the endorsement of Wisconsin Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin for the U.S. Senate. Baldwin became the first openly gay non-incumbent elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1998 and has served the people of Wisconsin’s second Congressional District effectively ever since. If elected to the U.S. Senate, Baldwin will be the first ever openly gay U.S. Senator.
